First, you need to remember that cats are animals. They live in an animal world and will react to situations like animals in the wild would. What is at the source of much cat misbehavior, then, is stressors in the cat’s environment. If your cat is acting up, ask yourself – has anything changed recently? Has a new cat or person joined the household? Have you changed the cat’s routine at all? Understanding the cat’s reaction to this new environment can help explain the source of its behavior.
Another possible reason for cat behavioral problems could be medical. If your cat is acting strangely, consider bringing him or her to the vet to make sure there are no underlying medical issues that could be causing the problems.
